Hunter Valley Wedding
When two cultures meld together it can truly be beautiful. This is what we experienced when we photographed the wedding of Tariq and Renae.
Their 10 year relationship culminated in a beautiful civil wedding ceremony on the lawns of the golf course of Chateau Élan in the Hunter Valley.
It was such a relaxed day that everything just fell into place, and this bride would definitely have won the award for being the most relaxed bride.
Renae kept everyone else as calm as she was as she went around fixing hair, makeup and accessories of others.
Tariq on the other hand was nervous. Very nervous. Renae (correctly) predicted that he would shed a tear, but we doubted it. Tariq and his brother were gentle souls, despite what first appearances might suggest. They both shed a tear or two before and during the ceremony whilst the bride was composed.
We were lucky enough to have had the most beautiful weather on the day and the golf carts took us around to various locations on the course for location shots. The helpful grounds staff making the transportation of a large family group to the far side of the golf coast easy, fun and efficient.
At the reception there were a number of interesting traditions including money being pinned to the Bride and Groom just before the first dance.
On this day we laughed and had a great deal of fun with both the bride and groom and their guests.
Below is a selection of the photos from this most enjoyable and fun wedding – and we delivered the full package of images to the Bridge and Groom within four weeks….
Until next time…
