Tiffany's Christening

Updated: Mar 8, 2018

Happy new year to one and all. May your year ahead include good health, much laughter and an abundance of what makes your heart swell. In addition to this, may you capture a few moments in time, for now, and memories to re-live in years to come.

Towards the end of the year we had the pleasure to photograph a sweet little girl’s Christening. Her name is Tiffany and she had a double Christening. By this we mean she was baptised in two churches. One at a St Paul of the Cross, Catholic Church Dulwich Hill and then followed by a Greek Orthodox Christening at St. Stephanos, Hurlstone Park. It was also a double celebration for Tiffany as she was about to turn one.

Tiffany was a well-behaved baby who just went along with all the rituals and blessing bestowed upon her. She was blessed to have five Godparents who all obviously adored and loved her very much.

The reception was held at the Olivetto Restaurant at Rhodes. The water views from the floor to ceiling windows provided the most amazing sight. The Italian food was delicious, plentiful and the service was professional and friendly.

Tiffany’s mum, Katie, had decided to play homage to her daughter and her name and arranged to have the sectioned off part of the restaurant, with the theme of the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

The tables were adorned with, what else but Tiffany blue boxes amongst other items which reflected a taste of the glamour, epitomised by Audrey Hepburn’s character at the famous luxury jewellery store. We felt like we were having Dinner at Tiffany’s. The details of the event were well thought out and very much enjoyed by all guests. The celebration of Tiffany’s Christening and first birthday was indeed a special day.

The children were entertained by a Elsa from the Frozen fame and there was a face painter to make their afternoon/evening even more enjoyable.

Tiffany is the much loved little sister of Mikhael who was very protective of his baby sister through the day.

Following are some of the photos taken of the day which we hope you enjoy.

Until next time, strive not to be a success but rather to be of value, Kathy & Tony xxx
