As always, we are happy to accept a Christening photography job from a returned customer. It is shows faith by our client’s in the work we love to do. The stories we love to tell via photography. Those moments in time which are fleeting but mean so much especially as time goes by.
Have you ever gone back to look at photos taken 5, 10, 20 or more years ago? How does that make you feel? Does it evoke an emotion which surprises you? I know it does with us. I recently found a photo of my father in 1950 looking very dapper standing outside the old post office in the city. The background showed the fashion of the time but the stone column he stood by remains the same. It made me happy to see this photo and the look of a very young man barely 20 years old.
Anyhow, we photographed Paris’s christening a few years earlier and George’s Christening earlier this year around some COVID restrictions.
George is a sweet little boy adored by his big sister Paris, parents, grandparents and extended family.
The service was at St Gerasimos, Leichardt and the reception at Grappa Italian Restaurant, Leichardt.
George has a close affinity and comfort around his Godparents Katie and Matt and their children. It appears the families are so close that they see each other often and their children spend a great deal of time together. It was sweet to see the loving interactions between these families.
We enjoyed telling the story of George’s Christening day through photos and hope you too enjoy them as well.
And remember “Kindness makes you the most beautiful person in the world no matter what you look like”
