For our last post of 2014 , we wanted to share with you something a little different: a photography session with a group of talented dancers.
When you are passionate and organised about what you do it reflects in your work. Christina runs Dance to the Limit, dance studio in Matraville and she is one passionate and organised woman.
We spent several hours at her studio photographing her fully made up students in groups, full costume and individual shots.
Excitement loomed as the students came into the studio in groups. They chose their own poses for their individual shots sometimes with a bit of encouragement and suggestion from Miss Christina and Kath.
The talented students and teachers alike enjoyed the photoshoot, as did we. We wish Christina continued success and growth in 2015.
A study released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics in 2013 reveals: 420,000 young Australians (age 5 to 14 years) have taken up and are involved in dancing. This makes dancing the second-most popular sport for children and adolescents, coming second to swimming – which had 490,000 participating last year.
We have selected a few of the many photos taken on the day for you to enjoy….
So until 2015 both Kath and I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a safe, happy new year filled with much laughter, joy and good health….
